This video features a collection of clips as a tribute to one of my favorite silent film era stars and a real pioneer in the industry: Luke the dog. Luke appeared in a number of early silent comedies due to the fact that his owners - Roscoe (Fatty) Arbuckle and his wife Minta Durfee - both worked at the Keystone Studio. The music for this is a recording from 1924 of "Dog On The Piano" by the "Arcadia Peacock Orchestra of St. Louis". ...
